Narrative:

We were climbing out of lax and given a 060 degree heading and told '060 degrees direct sli direct dag.' after tracking out of sli, we were questioned by ZLA 'where did we get that clearance.' if the captain misunderstood the proper clearance, he read it back to ZLA but it apparently did not get corrected. ZLA checked with the departure controller and told us it was all cleared up. The next plane behind us checked in on our frequency and stated 'we are going direct dag.' I think the second controller expected us to fly direct sli laxx 1 to dag. What we flew was sli direct dag as cleared by departure control.

Title: LGT GIVEN CLRNC DIRECT BY DEP CTLR. CTR CTLR QUESTIONS HDG.

Narrative: WE WERE CLBING OUT OF LAX AND GIVEN A 060 DEG HDG AND TOLD '060 DEGS DIRECT SLI DIRECT DAG.' AFTER TRACKING OUT OF SLI, WE WERE QUESTIONED BY ZLA 'WHERE DID WE GET THAT CLRNC.' IF THE CAPT MISUNDERSTOOD THE PROPER CLRNC, HE READ IT BACK TO ZLA BUT IT APPARENTLY DID NOT GET CORRECTED. ZLA CHKED WITH THE DEP CTLR AND TOLD US IT WAS ALL CLRED UP. THE NEXT PLANE BEHIND US CHKED IN ON OUR FREQ AND STATED 'WE ARE GOING DIRECT DAG.' I THINK THE SECOND CTLR EXPECTED US TO FLY DIRECT SLI LAXX 1 TO DAG. WHAT WE FLEW WAS SLI DIRECT DAG AS CLRED BY DEP CTL.
