Narrative:

Right-hand traffic and had just disengaged the autoplt after having cancelled IFR with dal approach. I had called unicom and was told of departing student traffic which I observed still on the runway. Then, suddenly from my 1:30 O'clock low and in a climbing always turning (no square corners here) came an small transport. A hard right turn brought us behind him but put on crosswind. It must have been at this point that I forget that I was to make r-hand traffic. It was only upon flaring that a voice could be heard saying that mckinney is r- handed.
