Narrative:

Shortly after takeoff, noted smoke in cockpit with no cockpit indications of problems. Cabin also filled with odorless smoke. Elected to immediately return to ewr. Airborne 7 mins. Emergency vehicles checked aircraft, no problems noted. Returned to gate. Note: just prior to takeoff, aft flight attendant advised her 'jump seat' was broken. In accordance with our MEL, I advised her to take the closest passenger seat for takeoff.

Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER TKOF, NOTED SMOKE IN COCKPIT WITH NO COCKPIT INDICATIONS OF PROBLEMS. CABIN ALSO FILLED WITH ODORLESS SMOKE. ELECTED TO IMMEDIATELY RETURN TO EWR. AIRBORNE 7 MINS.
