Narrative:

Having been 43 mi northeast of key west, we had just passed marathon airport a few mi back and switched from 122.8 to 119.25 for VFR advisories from key west navy approach. Before receiving radar contact from key west an aircraft from summerland key (uncontrolled field) was in a climb confign and heading towards us. Being at our 3 O'clock position I took a bank of 30 degree to the left to avoid conflict.
