Narrative:
Preflight inspection revealed rudder trim full deflection right rudder pedals displaced 8-10 inches. No other anomalies noted, ie, trim knob was centered, no circuit breakers popped. No obvious cause for situation. Possible causes: labor trouble at airline, misplaced jumpseat passenger. Aircraft on ground for 1 hour before we picked it up.

Narrative: PREFLT INSPECTION REVEALED RUDDER TRIM FULL DEFLECTION R RUDDER PEDALS DISPLACED 8-10 INCHES. NO OTHER ANOMALIES NOTED, IE, TRIM KNOB WAS CTRED, NO CIRCUIT BREAKERS POPPED. NO OBVIOUS CAUSE FOR SITUATION. POSSIBLE CAUSES: LABOR TROUBLE AT AIRLINE, MISPLACED JUMPSEAT PAX. ACFT ON GND FOR 1 HR BEFORE WE PICKED IT UP.
