Narrative:

A former instrument student that has been flying the wiley post VOR runway 35R is very concerned because controllers are not calling the FAF (dickh) for him. According to the commercial chart (copy enclosed) it is not legal to identify the FAF with DME. If you will refer to the government chart, you will see that it allows DME identify of the FAF. I think the commercial chart is in error. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: analyst called commercial chart maker and learned that their chart was in error and that a revision will be made in the jan/93 publication. As the reporter states, the government chart is correct. No further action is planned at this time.
