Narrative:

An operation was conducted to an airport (slc), that was above isa plus 30 degree C. I was under the impression, that this limit was an engine start and/or takeoff limitation; and thought that I could land. It was (2 days) later brought to my attention; that, it is also an operational limitation; and that I should not have landed. After landing and transfer of patient was completed, I waited until XX00 local to depart for the temperature to cool to the limit (isa plus 30 degree C). A thorough review of ambient temperature limitation.
