Narrative:

In a descent from FL190 to 11000 pilot discretion, then cleared to 7000. With pilot readback 6000 and controller acknowledged. I queried copilot to reconfirm 6 or 7 and he stated 6000. I was distracted by noise in cabin and I asked copilot to verify but I should have commanded him more specifically to reconfirm with center. Next time, I will verify myself, as responsibility clearly rest on my shoulders. Next time, during dscnts, I will concentrate more on listening and less on distrs in cockpit.
