Narrative:
In a descent from FL190 to 11000 pilot discretion, then cleared to 7000. With pilot readback 6000 and controller acknowledged. I queried copilot to reconfirm 6 or 7 and he stated 6000. I was distracted by noise in cabin and I asked copilot to verify but I should have commanded him more specifically to reconfirm with center. Next time, I will verify myself, as responsibility clearly rest on my shoulders. Next time, during dscnts, I will concentrate more on listening and less on distrs in cockpit.

Title: AN SMT ON AN EMS MISSION OVERSHOT IT'S ALT ON DSCNT.
Narrative: IN A DSCNT FROM FL190 TO 11000 PLT DISCRETION, THEN CLRED TO 7000. WITH PLT READBACK 6000 AND CTLR ACKNOWLEDGED. I QUERIED COPLT TO RECONFIRM 6 OR 7 AND HE STATED 6000. I WAS DISTRACTED BY NOISE IN CABIN AND I ASKED COPLT TO VERIFY BUT I SHOULD HAVE COMMANDED HIM MORE SPECIFICALLY TO RECONFIRM WITH CTR. NEXT TIME, I WILL VERIFY MYSELF, AS RESPONSIBILITY CLRLY REST ON MY SHOULDERS. NEXT TIME, DURING DSCNTS, I WILL CONCENTRATE MORE ON LISTENING AND LESS ON DISTRS IN COCKPIT.
