Narrative:
We were cleared into position and hold on runway 25R at lax. Approaching the runway I saw an aircraft breaking out below the clouds that appeared to be lined up on our runway. It was a commuter aircraft that was in fact cleared to land on our runway. We stopped short of the runway, tower sent the aircraft around. Deja vu for lax.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED INTO POS AND HOLD ON RWY 25R AT LAX. APCHING THE RWY I SAW AN ACFT BREAKING OUT BELOW THE CLOUDS THAT APPEARED TO BE LINED UP ON OUR RWY. IT WAS A COMMUTER ACFT THAT WAS IN FACT CLRED TO LAND ON OUR RWY. WE STOPPED SHORT OF THE RWY, TWR SENT THE ACFT AROUND. DEJA VU FOR LAX.
