Narrative:

Flight was deviated east (with ATC approval) for thunderstorms. At approximately H15Z ATC advised we could go no further east because of a military warning area unless we exercised the captain's emergency authority and squawked 7700. Because we could only proceed eward due to the WX, the captain advised ATC he would utilize the emergency authority and we squawked 7700. After approximately 2 mins we were able to turn north and at H20Z (Y20L) ATC advised us we were clear of the warning area.
