Narrative:

While en route to allentown got lost. Headed for east tx, VORTAC. Then called up allentown approach. Told them I was lost. They gave me a transponder code and told me I was 3 M west of VORTAC and gave me a vector to airport. En route and about 5 mi out they told me to switch to approach on 118.2, so I did. Called them up twice and no one answered. So I switched back to previous frequency and called them back. At that time I was told to stay with him on that frequency until landing. After landing I was met by the crash truck driver. He informed me he had to fill out some routine paperwork and I told him that I called up and nobody answered after 2 times so I switch back to my first frequency. When I got back we checked the radios and they were working.
