I was training a developmental and he had air carrier X sebound at FL330 with air carrier Y climbing out of FL307 to FL350. Trainee turned air carrier X at FL330 south, waited 10 seconds, turned climbing air carrier Y. I waited 5 seconds, turned air carrier Y some more, it wasn't enough.
