Narrative:

Ferried a small aircraft twin from farmingdale, ny to mem, tn. Ferry permit, signed by FAA, also recorded in aircraft logbook by a&P was airworthy. After arriving back in mem, tn had ia inspect left propeller and found to be in unairworthy condition due to excessive removal of metal from tips, approximately 2 1/2 inches per tip.

Narrative: FERRIED A SMA TWIN FROM FARMINGDALE, NY TO MEM, TN. FERRY PERMIT, SIGNED BY FAA, ALSO RECORDED IN ACFT LOGBOOK BY A&P WAS AIRWORTHY. AFTER ARRIVING BACK IN MEM, TN HAD IA INSPECT L PROP AND FOUND TO BE IN UNAIRWORTHY CONDITION DUE TO EXCESSIVE REMOVAL OF METAL FROM TIPS, APPROX 2 1/2 INCHES PER TIP.
