Narrative:

While passing through 12000 ft, a passenger informed us that he noticed a crack develop in the window of cabin seat xx. After the captain investigated the occurrence, we then took precautionary action by descending to a safe altitude, slowing the aircraft down, and depressurizing the aircraft. We never experienced any cabin noise or loss of cabin pressure directly after discovery of the crack; so we informed ATC of our difficulty and they granted us direct memphis. We landed at memphis international without incident.
