Narrative:

I took off from dallas love on local test flight. When returning to land I noticed that my landing gear indicator light on the left main gear was not on. I went through the recommended procedure in the poh. Then I called regulation approach for a clearance into dal. I did a low flyby of the tower and they said it was down. I landed on 13L with no problem and the light went on when I touched down. A mr X called and said that it was reported as an emergency. I did not declare an emergency. At this time, he said I did not have to fill out any paperwork but he needed some information from me for his report.
