Narrative:

I was at mfe. I was given clearance to taxi to runway 13. An mdt was given clearance to taxi to 13 also. I proceeded to taxiway B to taxiway a which runs parallel to runway 13. The mdt Y was on taxiway a. We arrived at the intersection of taxiway a and B at about the same time. I was to the mdt's right, so I had the right-of-way. I proceeded in front of the mdt. The pilot of the mdt told tower there was an FAA inspector on board who wanted my north number, so I assume the other aircraft thought they had the right-of-way. I know of no evasive action being taken. Clrer ATC instructions would have helped.
