Narrative:

Upon letdown to mmu, approach was vectoring us to go behind a slower commuter propeller jet, and as I was hand flying the aircraft, I looked out the left window and saw the traffic as it was called out by ATC. Copilot advised me I was 100 ft low, TCASII system on aircraft advised same and the controller said I was right over traffic and what was my altitude. First officer replied level at our assigned altitude. Reason: not paying attention. Controller mentioned it no more. Things like this happen and will happen again. That's why we have two pilots, altitude alert system and TCASII!
