Narrative:

On our arrival in oak, the FAA stepped up to the aircraft to check the paperwork. On close inspection, the registration on the aircraft was superseded by a temporary certificate which had expired. Upon finding this out the captain decided to continue the flight even though the aircraft was illegal. I mentioned this along with saying that the FAA were still here and watching. He just said that it was our job and we had a schedule to keep. Both the captain and a company officer told me that they had the new registration and to keep flying.
