Narrative:

Clearance was cross huo VOR at 5000 ft. The captain (PF) started descent too late. We crossed the huo at about 7000 ft and 320 KIAS. Increased airspeed for try to make restriction. We informed ny center that we would be unable to make crossing restriction. They vectored us off 30 degree to left for about 15 seconds and then told to resume course direct to huo VOR.
