Narrative:

I observed a mlt approximately 1 mi sse of eyw tower heading nne approximately 1000 ft. I called nqx tower to find out what was happening. They said he was on a wide right base to runway B that he came from the south. This was not coordination and we had just launched a VFR small aircraft off runway 9 with a right to the south. The local control (not I) observed the small aircraft turn to avoid the mlt. The small aircraft was already switched to nqx VFR advisory.
