Narrative:

Small aircraft on VFR flight from jbr to olv had sudden drop in oil pressure and emergency was declared to ATC (approach information). Landing made without incident at dewitt spain field. Contact made with memphis approach control after landing. No injury. Engine failure (oil cooler hole) is preliminary reason for problem.

Narrative: SMA ON VFR FLT FROM JBR TO OLV HAD SUDDEN DROP IN OIL PRESSURE AND EMER WAS DECLARED TO ATC (APCH INFO). LNDG MADE WITHOUT INCIDENT AT DEWITT SPAIN FIELD. CONTACT MADE WITH MEMPHIS APCH CTL AFTER LNDG. NO INJURY. ENG FAILURE (OIL COOLER HOLE) IS PRELIMINARY REASON FOR PROBLEM.
