Narrative:

I was assigned 11000 ft on blue ridge arrival over baton. Approach control advised me of an air carrier climbing to 10000 ft at 12 O'clock and 4 mi. I acknowledged the traffic and 30 seconds later TCASII issued an RA and advised a climb to resolve conflict. I climbed 500 ft and satisfied the TCASII conflict. I immediately notified approach control of the deviation and the reason for same. Approach control acknowledged the situation and said with 35L departures and blue ridge arrs this traffic conflict is common.
