Narrative:

While flying a visual approach to '3R', landing gear was extended and the nose gear indicated 'unsafe.' all emergency procedures outlined in cockpit operating manual were followed, but could not correct the problem. Emergency was declared, followed by an uneventful landing.

Narrative: WHILE FLYING A VISUAL APCH TO '3R', LNDG GEAR WAS EXTENDED AND THE NOSE GEAR INDICATED 'UNSAFE.' ALL EMER PROCS OUTLINED IN COCKPIT OPERATING MANUAL WERE FOLLOWED, BUT COULD NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. EMER WAS DECLARED, FOLLOWED BY AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG.
