Narrative:

On the turbo mdt aircraft we have 7 items on the takeoff warning horn. Upon initial roll for takeoff we got the horn and aborted just a few seconds into the takeoff roll. We taxied back to 23 and checked all 7 items and found no problems. I cycled the flaps through 15 degrees and 35 degrees, then back to 0 degrees. I then placed them at 5 degrees (for takeoff) and after running the engines up we found no takeoff warning horn. Today, 2/mon/92, I found out it was the flap indicator and we found out the aircraft is grounded. I feel we adequately researched the problem and flew the airplane (with no other horn) for 3 more legs, each time the flaps were set and indicating 5 degrees.

Title: TKOF ABORTED WHEN WARNING HORN SOUNDS.

Narrative: ON THE TURBO MDT ACFT WE HAVE 7 ITEMS ON THE TKOF WARNING HORN. UPON INITIAL ROLL FOR TKOF WE GOT THE HORN AND ABORTED JUST A FEW SECONDS INTO THE TKOF ROLL. WE TAXIED BACK TO 23 AND CHKED ALL 7 ITEMS AND FOUND NO PROBLEMS. I CYCLED THE FLAPS THROUGH 15 DEGS AND 35 DEGS, THEN BACK TO 0 DEGS. I THEN PLACED THEM AT 5 DEGS (FOR TKOF) AND AFTER RUNNING THE ENGS UP WE FOUND NO TKOF WARNING HORN. TODAY, 2/MON/92, I FOUND OUT IT WAS THE FLAP INDICATOR AND WE FOUND OUT THE ACFT IS GNDED. I FEEL WE ADEQUATELY RESEARCHED THE PROBLEM AND FLEW THE AIRPLANE (WITH NO OTHER HORN) FOR 3 MORE LEGS, EACH TIME THE FLAPS WERE SET AND INDICATING 5 DEGS.
