Narrative:

I was doing a diversion exercise with my student on the north side of sna arsa above the 91 freeway. He chose to take as ground reference point a small lake at the northeast edge of the arsa in order to give me heading and time to the diversion point which was orange county airport. After he gave me heading 210 degree and time estimated at 6 mins he began his process. We were at 3000 ft MSL. I knew he was going through the arsa. I waited a little bit hoping he will realize it and change his heading. I then told him and we exited the arsa. But when we landed we had to call orange county tower. I then realized we were just in the path of orange county ILS and then we made a big mess. I take the total responsibility in this mistake and I realize being a CFI I should have never let my student enter in the arsa with the hope he would realize the error. Student only admit their errors and mistakes when they are actually doing them. Nevertheless, nobody should ever violate an airspace consciously and I will never let my student do it again -- experiences are sometimes the result of mistakes.
