Narrative:

I was giving dual instruction for a multi engine aircraft. We were doing an engine out landing. I thought the gear was down on base leg. We had gone through the checklist to at least that point. I was monitoring the student performance and watching for traffic that was reported to me on a photo flight under the downwind leg of runway 33. I realized that we were gear up when we got the propeller strike. I did not hear the gear horn. I feel that we were distracted at a bad time looking for the other aircraft.
