Narrative:

After landing on runway 3R at dtw we exited and started taxiing on W5 to our terminal. A commuter aircraft appeared to be approaching us from our right on taxiway C, so we stopped our aircraft. We asked tower control what the commuter aircraft was going to do and tower replied that he was not talking to him. Tower then asked us if we could proceed and go around him. Shortly thereafter, captain announced that the aircraft was hard to steer, he immediately stopped the aircraft and we called company and tower for assistance. Our company and dtw airport personnel then informed us that our left main tire was off the taxiway. Conditions at the airport were blowing snow across all runways and taxiways. Taxiways were all hard packed snow and icy.
