Narrative:

Having been cleared for a visual approach, we (captain and I) were on approximately a 5 mi right base for runway 8L at ontario airport, ca. The left engine oil pressure annunciator light illuminated and the left engine oil pressure gauge dropped to 0. At that moment, smoke filled the cabin. At the captain's command, I turned off both bleed airs to eliminate the source of smoke. The captain called for a precautionary engine shutdown and we shutdown and secured the left engine without delay. The captain made a very good landing on runway 8L, exited the runway at taxiway and shutdown the right engine. After visually ensuring that there was no fire on the left wing, the passenger were deplaned through the main cabin door without incident and escorted away from the airplane.
