Narrative:
We were cleared into position and hold on runway 14 at srq. Light aircraft were doing practice takeoff and lndgs on runway 4. Tower cleared us for immediate takeoff. At approximately 60 KIAS tower cancelled our takeoff clearance and told us to abort. We aborted and stopped short of intersection of runways 14 and 4. As we aborted the takeoff an small aircraft crossed the intersection in front of us. If we would have continued the takeoff we would have had at best a near miss with the small aircraft.

Title: ACR MLG HAD TO ABORT TKOF BECAUSE AN SMA WAS ON TKOF ROLL ON AN INTERSECTING RWY.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED INTO POS AND HOLD ON RWY 14 AT SRQ. LIGHT ACFT WERE DOING PRACTICE TKOF AND LNDGS ON RWY 4. TWR CLRED US FOR IMMEDIATE TKOF. AT APPROX 60 KIAS TWR CANCELLED OUR TKOF CLRNC AND TOLD US TO ABORT. WE ABORTED AND STOPPED SHORT OF INTXN OF RWYS 14 AND 4. AS WE ABORTED THE TKOF AN SMA CROSSED THE INTXN IN FRONT OF US. IF WE WOULD HAVE CONTINUED THE TKOF WE WOULD HAVE HAD AT BEST A NEAR MISS WITH THE SMA.
