Narrative:
As the first officer tried to trim the right wing down using the aileron trim he noted that the switch would not 'toggle' right, only left. I called company and they advised a diversion to baltimore for maintenance, since our destination at white plains has no company maintenance. A 'peanut' light bulb (approximately 1/4 inch long) had become stuck underneath the switch cover.

Title: AILERON WOULD TRIM ONLY L WING DOWN. ACFT BECOMING OUT OF TRIM. LANDED BWI NEAREST SUITABLE FOR MAINT.
Narrative: AS THE FO TRIED TO TRIM THE R WING DOWN USING THE AILERON TRIM HE NOTED THAT THE SWITCH WOULD NOT 'TOGGLE' R, ONLY L. I CALLED COMPANY AND THEY ADVISED A DIVERSION TO BALTIMORE FOR MAINT, SINCE OUR DEST AT WHITE PLAINS HAS NO COMPANY MAINT.
