Narrative:

We departed dfw on dallas 7 high departure, turning left to 090 degrees to intercept 078 degrees of dfw climbing to 10000 ft. At a little over 9000 ft had a TCASII RA, to decrease rate of climb. We could see traffic at 1 O'clock at 11000 ft. The aircraft autoplt was on. We had altitude capture about the time of the alert. The aircraft did not level at 10000 ft. At 10200 ft MSL started a manual level off and descent back to 10000 ft. Maximum altitude was 10500 ft. Power was reduced but no evasive taken other than level off back to 10000 ft.
