Narrative:

ATC advised us of 12 O'clock traffic at 3500 ft MSL (no visual). In accordance with procedures the crew followed the TCASII issued instructions to descend to approximately 2500 ft MSL. As per procedures ATC was advised of TCASII instructions as aircraft left altitude. The crew was subsequently advised that there was converging traffic at 2500 ft. No visual contact was made with the 2500 ft traffic. At uneventful approach and landing was then executed. TCASII debrief forms were submitted by both flight crew and ATC controller.

Title: ACR MLG ALTDEV EXCURSION FROM CLRNC ALT IN RESPONSE TO TCASII RA. DSCNT PUT MLG AT SAME ALT AS OTHER XING TFC THAT WAS NOT SEEN ON TCASII NOR SIGHTED BY FLC.

Narrative: ATC ADVISED US OF 12 O'CLOCK TFC AT 3500 FT MSL (NO VISUAL). IN ACCORDANCE WITH PROCS THE CREW FOLLOWED THE TCASII ISSUED INSTRUCTIONS TO DSND TO APPROX 2500 FT MSL. AS PER PROCS ATC WAS ADVISED OF TCASII INSTRUCTIONS AS ACFT LEFT ALT. THE CREW WAS SUBSEQUENTLY ADVISED THAT THERE WAS CONVERGING TFC AT 2500 FT. NO VISUAL CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE 2500 FT TFC. AT UNEVENTFUL APCH AND LNDG WAS THEN EXECUTED. TCASII DEBRIEF FORMS WERE SUBMITTED BY BOTH FLC AND ATC CTLR.
