Narrative:
Checked WX, said I could go VFR around the mountains. I suddenly flew into IMC. I notified center I was in IMC and requested IFR clearance to 11000 ft and received it. I did not notify them that I am not rated. The flight was uneventful and I am taking my IFR written this weekend.

Narrative: CHKED WX, SAID I COULD GO VFR AROUND THE MOUNTAINS. I SUDDENLY FLEW INTO IMC. I NOTIFIED CENTER I WAS IN IMC AND REQUESTED IFR CLRNC TO 11000 FT AND RECEIVED IT. I DID NOT NOTIFY THEM THAT I AM NOT RATED. THE FLT WAS UNEVENTFUL AND I AM TAKING MY IFR WRITTEN THIS WEEKEND.
