Narrative:

I departed dal at XA30 for maf. I was with departure control and lost radio communication and navigation. Per part 91 I squawked 7700 for 1 min and went to 7600 on transponder. I was on contact with departure control for approximately 5 mins prior to lost communication. At XA40 I climbed to my assigned altitude of 80. Every couple of mins transmitting in the blind altitude leaving and one climbing to and heading. I was unable to pick up millsap VOR for approximately 20 mins and simultaneously the navs and communications became operative. The regional departure controller turned me over to dtw center without comment. Problem unknown! Landed without incident.
