Narrative:

On a non scheduled part 135 flight rear seat passenger were presumed to be consuming alcoholic beverages without being served by the certificate holder. The problem was discovered by a local police officer who conducted a search of the plane and found 2 empty cans of beer. He then reported this to the FAA. I believe this occurred because the passenger were unfamiliar with far 135.121. The next time if I ever expect passenger have alcoholic beverages in their possession I will inform them of far 135.121.
