Narrative:

Parachute jump operation in flight path of STAR into rdu. Arrival aircraft fly through parachute jump operations daily and close calls are common such as today. Air carrier X widebody transport advised that 3 or 4 parachutes just drifted 1/2 mi off his right side, same altitude. Rdu management tells us that this is all legal and not to be concerned.

Narrative: PARACHUTE JUMP OP IN FLT PATH OF STAR INTO RDU. ARR ACFT FLY THROUGH PARACHUTE JUMP OPS DAILY AND CLOSE CALLS ARE COMMON SUCH AS TODAY. ACR X WDB ADVISED THAT 3 OR 4 PARACHUTES JUST DRIFTED 1/2 MI OFF HIS R SIDE, SAME ALT. RDU MGMNT TELLS US THAT THIS IS ALL LEGAL AND NOT TO BE CONCERNED.
