Narrative:

Landed on runway 32 at pittsburg (pit). Tower asked us to turn right as soon as possible and that runway 28C would be nice. We complied and tower told us to hold short of taxiway T and contact ground. I was not real familiar with pit and assumed T paralleled 28C, so I turned off of 28C and held short of the parallel. But little did I realize I was sitting on T holding short of west. The ground controller then proceeded to chew us out for holding up traffic. In the future I will not accept a hurried up clearance after landing unless I am fully familiar with the taxiways. I assumed I knew what the controllers were trying to do. What a dangerous word -- assume.
