Narrative:

Departed cwa on runway 26 1 hour after its scheduled closure for maintenance. This was the first day of scheduled closure. NOTAMS issued were on WX package however, received additional information from company indicating hours of closure were OX30-IH00 local time. Problem arose since our company operates on local time even though crew was based on dtw which is EDT while cwa is CDT. Therefore, I, as captain on this flight, miscalculated the local time by looking at the wrong time schedule for the trip. So when we departed at what I thought was OX30 am local time it was actually OY30 am. On taxi out to runway 26 which the winds favored by being 300/15 KTS, no equipment was noted on runway or runway area. In addition, I heard an FAA vehicle driving out to the localizer, which to me confirmed that they were about to close the runway on schedule, at OX30 am local time. In addition, I was distraction by WX problems at our destination and a small problem in aircraft. My suggestion would be to run our company, which operates in 2 times zones on zulu time and place all our schedules as such.

Title: COMMUTER SMT MADE A TKOF ON A CLOSED RWY AT CWA.

Narrative: DEPARTED CWA ON RWY 26 1 HR AFTER ITS SCHEDULED CLOSURE FOR MAINT. THIS WAS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHEDULED CLOSURE. THEREFORE, I, AS CAPT ON THIS FLT, MISCALCULATED THE LCL TIME BY LOOKING AT THE WRONG TIME SCHEDULE FOR THE TRIP. SO WHEN WE DEPARTED AT WHAT I THOUGHT WAS OX30 AM LCL TIME IT WAS ACTUALLY OY30 AM.
