Narrative:
I was with twin instructor. I was flying left seat. I was on downwind, added too much flaps abeam the numbers. Next item, gear (we were not using a written checklist). He said fix the flaps. I did and I forgot the gear. We talked about non relevant things on base leg. He worked me over the white line on final so I missed gumps on short final.
