Narrative:

On the day of the incident I flew from wilmington, nc, to wood county, wv, on business and to see a friend. That afternoon my friend wanted me to see his small aircraft-a, so we flew my small aircraft-B to a private strip where he kept his plane. The WX was very hazy, we were having a hard time finding the turf strip. I was flying slower than I normally do, about 110 mph finding the strip I circled the field and made my downwind and then my approach. As I made my approach I found out that the airplane was not slowing down like it should, I pulled the power all the way back to idle. At this point the gear up warning horn did not sound and I proceeded to land thinking the gear was down. As the propeller hit the ground grass hit the windshield. At that time I knew that the gear was up and was committed to land. We skidded to a stop and I shut the gas and battery off and exited the aircraft.
