Narrative:

This was the old bug-a-boo of similar call signs. Air carrier X acce, air carrier X acee, air carrier X dee, air carrier X acfe and 1 air carrier Y aircraft all deviating WX from east coast wbound into chi center. We deviated and were cleared RNAV to fwa to pick up SID. We passed fwa and turned to knox. Center (we had changed frequencys) asked us our clearance. We told him. He then cleared us direct knox and the arrs. The controllers were overloaded enough without the extra burden of all these call signs. Similar call signs are one thing but this was a little much for anyone to handle.
