Narrative:
Cpr X cleared for visual approach to runway 12L by houston approach. We were following a small aircraft by about 3 mi. The small aircraft lands. Air carrier Y was holding short of runway 12L at taxiway C. Upon beginning our transition to the landing flare, air carrier Y taxied across runway 12L. Simultaneously we initiated a go around and tower issued a clearance to go around. We cleared air carrier Y by approximately 150 ft. Tower advised us to enter a left downwind for runway 12L. Landed with no further surprises.
