Narrative:
We took a mechanical delay to complete installation of #3 engine pylon glove fairing. On takeoff roll a flight made a call on tower frequency to say we had lost a part off the aircraft. We aborted the takeoff reaching approximately 80 KIAS uneventfully. Subsequently, we had maintenance check the brakes, pylon and placard the missing fairing and continued the flight uneventfully.

Title: TKOF ABORTED.
Narrative: WE TOOK A MECHANICAL DELAY TO COMPLETE INSTALLATION OF #3 ENG PYLON GLOVE FAIRING. ON TKOF ROLL A FLT MADE A CALL ON TWR FREQ TO SAY WE HAD LOST A PART OFF THE ACFT. WE ABORTED THE TKOF REACHING APPROX 80 KIAS UNEVENTFULLY. SUBSEQUENTLY, WE HAD MAINT CHK THE BRAKES, PYLON AND PLACARD THE MISSING FAIRING AND CONTINUED THE FLT UNEVENTFULLY.
