Narrative:

During our approach for landing in tpe, the captain was flying. We were radar vectored toward final approach and cleared for an ILS approach. We intercepted the localizer for runway 05L, which we thought was what we were cleared for. After we intercepted the 05L localizer and began the ILS approach, approach control called us, asked our heading and then gave us an intercept heading for the 06 ILS. It was too late to properly intercept the 06 ILS and make a good, safe approach, so we elected to made a missed approach. The next approach and landing were uneventful.
