Narrative:
During pattern approach to landing, a radio failure distracted me during my final check. Gear not down, pilot error. At initial contact, raised the aircraft from the runway and lowered the gear for a normal landing.

Narrative: DURING PATTERN APCH TO LNDG, A RADIO FAILURE DISTRACTED ME DURING MY FINAL CHK. GEAR NOT DOWN, PLT ERROR. AT INITIAL CONTACT, RAISED THE ACFT FROM THE RWY AND LOWERED THE GEAR FOR A NORMAL LNDG.
