The departure verbiage reads 'climb heading 215 to intercept course (139 for 22L and 143 for 22R) to tjayy do not exceed 210 knots until 520; then on depicted route to patss.' when you look at the depicted route; the track from tjayy to brrro is 091 with foxxx between tjayy on a direct line between tjayy and brrro. The diagram says that brrro is '4.6 from foxxx' and '7.3 from tjayy.'

Narrative: The verbiage for the BOS PATSS 5 Departure for Runways 22L and 22R needs to modified to be less ambiguous to indicate that the FOXXX intersection is not part of the procedure for those runways. The departure verbiage reads 'Climb heading 215 to intercept course (139 for 22L and 143 for 22R) to TJAYY do not exceed 210 knots until 520; then on depicted route to PATSS.' When you look at the depicted route; the track from TJAYY to BRRRO is 091 with FOXXX between TJAYY on a direct line between TJAYY and BRRRO. The diagram says that BRRRO is '4.6 from FOXXX' and '7.3 from TJAYY.'
