Narrative:
We were inbound to orw VOR at FL230. Bos center descended an light transport jet through our altitude. He came at us from 11 O'clock with a high rate of closure. TCAS went from TA to RA almost simultaneously. It commanded a 1500-2000 FPM climb. I complied. As soon as the nose of the aircraft was up, TCAS announced 'clear of traffic.' we leveled off at FL233, advised ATC of our compliance with a TCAS RA, and descended to FL230.
