Narrative:

This was my third time as pilot departing from frg on a part 135 flight. At the ramp in front of the hangar I was cleared by ground control to 'taxi to runway 32.' I proceeded to the nearest route off the ramp to where I thought the G taxiway was located. But as I proceeded, I inadvertently crossed the hold short line for runway 19-01 at the G5 intersection. I should have proceeded to the south side of the ramp to the G4 intersection to reach the G taxiway. I believed the ramp was oriented parallel to runway 19-01 and the taxiway continued parallel to the runway. But in fact, the ramp was taxiway G and is angled slightly toward the runway at the north side. I immediately turned around after crossing the line west/O actually going onto the runway and proceeded to G4. Although there was no potential for danger on that day since runway 01-19 was not in use, I believe that a similar situation could occur while looking for a parallel taxiway. I was familiar with the airport and held an airport diagram in front of me while I was taxiing. Due to the apparently frequent occurrent of inadvertently taxiing on to active runways, I would feel that more apparent and visible hold short lines would be much safer.

Title: PLT OF ATX FREIGHTER TAXIED OVER RWY HOLD SHORT LINE BUT DID NOT PENETRATE RWY.

Narrative: THIS WAS MY THIRD TIME AS PLT DEPARTING FROM FRG ON A PART 135 FLT. AT THE RAMP IN FRONT OF THE HANGAR I WAS CLRED BY GND CTL TO 'TAXI TO RWY 32.' I PROCEEDED TO THE NEAREST RTE OFF THE RAMP TO WHERE I THOUGHT THE G TXWY WAS LOCATED. BUT AS I PROCEEDED, I INADVERTENTLY CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 19-01 AT THE G5 INTXN. I SHOULD HAVE PROCEEDED TO THE S SIDE OF THE RAMP TO THE G4 INTXN TO REACH THE G TXWY. I BELIEVED THE RAMP WAS ORIENTED PARALLEL TO RWY 19-01 AND THE TXWY CONTINUED PARALLEL TO THE RWY. BUT IN FACT, THE RAMP WAS TXWY G AND IS ANGLED SLIGHTLY TOWARD THE RWY AT THE N SIDE. I IMMEDIATELY TURNED AROUND AFTER XING THE LINE W/O ACTUALLY GOING ONTO THE RWY AND PROCEEDED TO G4. ALTHOUGH THERE WAS NO POTENTIAL FOR DANGER ON THAT DAY SINCE RWY 01-19 WAS NOT IN USE, I BELIEVE THAT A SIMILAR SITUATION COULD OCCUR WHILE LOOKING FOR A PARALLEL TXWY. I WAS FAMILIAR WITH THE ARPT AND HELD AN ARPT DIAGRAM IN FRONT OF ME WHILE I WAS TAXIING. DUE TO THE APPARENTLY FREQUENT OCCURRENT OF INADVERTENTLY TAXIING ON TO ACTIVE RWYS, I WOULD FEEL THAT MORE APPARENT AND VISIBLE HOLD SHORT LINES WOULD BE MUCH SAFER.
