Narrative:
About 1:49 mins into flight, #2 engine experienced 3 compressor stalls. We shut down #2 engine and returned to lax. No further problems experienced. Oak transoceanic and ZLA did an excellent job. Supplemental information from acn 174526: decision to return and execution of same was near position dopps (576 degree right) N30 degrees 38.4 west 133 degrees 40.3.
