Narrative:
On a 3 mile final to runway 1C I noticed a yellow rpa [remote piloted aircraft] about 2000' to our right and a few hundred feet below us. It was approximately 12' long; shaped like a bow tie. We did not need to maneuver and were able to land without incident. Local people not understanding the possible outcome of flying their drone near a commercial airport. Local news could reiterate drone restrictions.
